Free Knee Replacements in a Day at Amrita Hospital

Fatehpur Shekhawati: In a remarkable achievement, Amrita Hospital successfully performed five free Total Knee Replacement (TKR) surgeries in a single day under the Chief Minister Ayushman Arogya Yojana and the Rajasthan Government Health Scheme (RGHS). These surgeries were performed by renowned Orthopedic and Joint Replacement Specialist Dr. Karan Singh and his experienced team.

For the first time in the Shekhawati region, an orthopedic surgeon has successfully conducted five knee replacements in a single day - a milestone that highlights both medical excellence and Amrita Hospital’s commitment to compassionate care.

The patients who received the free surgeries include:

• Nathi Devi (49 years)

• Tolaram (72 years)

• Meera (65 years) — all residents of Fatehpur

• Mohammad Ayub (62 years) — from Bargdoda

• Chuki Devi (56 years) — from Rajpura

All five patients were suffering from chronic knee pain and have now found relief, steadily returning to normal life.
